Your syllabus for your class should list the books that you need for that class.

The library will have a copy of your textbook if your instructor put it on reserve for your class. Because textbooks are published in new editions so often, the library can't buy them. Instead your instructor will loan the library his or her personal copy of the textbook to place on reserve so that it's available to as many students as possible.

You can search for your textbook in the library by clicking on "Textbooks & More" from the Library & Learning Center homepage. If you know the title of your book you can search for it that way. If you don't know the title of your book you can search using your instructor's name, your course ID number, or course name.

Please let us know if you need any more help. For additional questions about textbooks on reserve please call 209-575-6229.
