How do I cite the slide show (PowerPoint) my professor uploaded to our class Canvas shell? I am required to use MLA.

Our Answer

Here is the basic format based on the 9th edition of the MLA Handbook:

"Title of Presentation." Course Name, taught by Professor Name. Name of Learning Platform, Institution Name, upload date, web location.

Here is a local example:

"The Rank-Raglan Mythotype: Narrative Patterns for Cross-Cultural Traits Found in the Stories of Mythical Heroes." Composition and Reading, taught by Nathan Bento. Canvas, Modesto Junior College, Fall 2024, modesto.instructure.com.
