Great question! Here's what NoodleTools says,
Google Docs and Google Drive are essentially the same thing as far as NoodleTools goes. Google Drive is sort of the main "hub" of all users' files no matter the program, where the files can either be Docs, Sheets (spreadsheets), presentations, or some other file types. If you wanted to work on a doc, you could either open Google Drive and find the doc there, or you could open Google Docs and find that same doc using that application. NoodleTools creates a Google Doc within the student's Google Drive.
