FAQ

The Question

Why can't I read the article I found on the Gale Databases?

Our Answer

Not all articles found in the Gale Databases are available in full text format. Sometimes Gale provides only the "abstract" of the article and sometimes Gale provides only the "citation." If you find an article you want and only the abstract or citation is available, then click on the nearby link that says CHECK MJC AVAILABILITY. This is a quick way to see if the article is available on another database such as EBSCO or CQ Researcher, or freely available on the Web. If the article is NOT available anywhere else, you can submit an Interlibrary Loan form and we'll find the article for you through another library.

Another option? Simply limit your Gale searches to DOCUMENTS WITH FULL TEXT.
