Chat With A Librarian

Yes, you can, but it is a multi-step process. If you owe only a small amount--say, $10 or less--it is probably easier just to stop by the East Campus Library & Learning Center and pay cash. (FYI: No money is handled in the West Campus Library & Learning Center. Please pay fines in the East Campus Library & Learning Center at 435 College Avenue.)

If you do decide to pay online, call our circulation desk on East Campus at 575-6228 or West Campus at 575-6676, and ask that your fine be entered into Datatel, our schoolwide administration program. Then you can go to PiratesNet and pay online. After you have paid, you will need to call our circulation desk staff again and let them know your Datatel transaction number. They can then remove your fine from the library system. The reason this is a rather complicated process is that Datatel cannot access the information in the library system and vice-versa.

Thank you for paying your fines. We appreciate it.

  1. Updated this FAQ on 12/3/18 to note that West Campus L & LC does not handle cash.
