I need scholarly articles for my paper, where can I get them?

Our Answer

Scholarly articles are also known as peer-reviewed and academic journal articles.

All of the resources mentioned below are available from the MJC Library & Learning Center website.

Start by using Gale eBooks, which contains specialized encyclopedias and reference books. These are considered academic sources. Pro-tip: do background reading before you attempt to find peer-reviewed research. 

As you do your background reading, compile a list of keywords to use for further research, which you'll use when searching the larger articles databases.
