A great place to start is Gale's Biography in Context, an online database we subscribe to that provides thousands of academically appropriate sources. You can search BiC by clicking on the "Find Articles" link on the MJC Library & Learning Center homage. From there find the "Biography" link on the "Find Databases by Subject" pull-down menu. Biography in Context will be your first choice. It is easy to search, and articles can be printed, emailed, and they cite themselves.
You may also want to search our catalog ("WorldCat - Find Books & More"). By accessing the Advanced Search link below the search box, you can perform a subject search for Salk, Jonas and you'll find lots of results.
A reminder that all databases (Biography in Context and our eBooks included) require you to enter your "W" number (without the W) and six-date date of birth to use off campus.
Hope this helps.
