To access our article databases, go to the library's home page and click on Articles & Databases. I checked our EBSCO databases and found the subject term "medical wastes--environmental aspects" is used by EBSCO. A search of that subject yielded 12 full-text articles.
You should also try our Gale Databases link. Click the Subject Guide Search in the gold bar near the top to find out if Gale uses the same subject term as EBSCO. Type medical wastes and press ENTER. You'll find 4804 articles--quite a few. To view a subset of those articles, click Subdivisions and you can limit just to articles about, say, contamination, environmental aspects, or laws, regulations and rules. Once you see your results list, check the left column for additional ways to focus your search if necessary.
Also on the Articles & Databases page is a collection of encyclopedias--Gale Virtual Reference Library. Do a search of the term medical wastes there and you will see articles on the topic in variety of encyclopedias.
