GRVL is the Gale Virtual Reference Library, a database of specialized encyclopedias. It's great for getting topic overviews and background information on nearly any topic. You can access it anytime from the library's Articles & Databases page--look under the Background Information heading. If you are off campus, you will need to enter your W number and 6 digit birth date for access.
